Education is one of the key pillars in our sustainability agenda. Education is a human right that is most undervalued, yet it forms the backbone of building strong local host communities for our tourism sector. Education is highlighted as a catalyst for community development and an opportunity to impact local economies through creativity and innovation stemmed from education. As such we have strived to build bright futures and continue to do so by.
We invite all well wishers and those that would like to support our initiative to support us financially or materially. Our top priority for the community is to provide bursaries for childhood academic education to those who would otherwise not be able to afford the school fees, uniforms and books to attend school. Many young children are needy. The most vulnerable of these are young girls who have no other option but to be married off to an older man as a second, third or even fourth wife. It is important to invest in academic upgrading for these children and teens so they can catch up to their educated peers and attend age-appropriate classes as soon as possible. For those for whom an academic education is not practical, the teaching of basic literacy and numeracy skills prepares them and other adults in the community to have a chance to make a living in today’s life.
